As services struggle with increased calls volumes, being short staffed, and increased offload times in the ED, finding applicable solutions is paramount. Using lessons learned from research, application, and implementation, we will explore ways MIH can be integrated to improve quality, patient experience, employee satisfaction, and retention. Community paramedicine, combined with ET3 and telemedicine might be that solution. We recognized that we had ability to help. By freeing up ambulances and reducing transports, while improving care for patients.
